How to counter Jax

Jax is a duelist who scales into an unstoppable 1v1 threat: he leaps with his Q, dodges basic attacks with his E and stuns when he releases it. But his dodge only works against auto-attacks, not abilities, so you stop him with skillshot-based poke, crowd control, or tanky champions that endure his damage into the late game.

  • Urgot — He wears him down with his W's sustained damage (which his E can't dodge) and wins the prolonged trades.
  • Dr. Mundo — He heals through his damage and is too tanky for Jax to kill, out-scaling him late.
