How to counter Nautilus

Nautilus is a tank engage support who catches with his hook, roots with his attacks, and knocks up with his ultimate. He lives off initiating and chaining crowd control, so he struggles against supports that block his hook, out-tank him, or undo his initiation.

Braum — His shield intercepts Nautilus's hook, protecting his ADC and denying his initiation.
Rell — She out-tanks and out-engages him, contesting the initiation without falling to his crowd control.
Leona — She matches his engage and out-trades him as a tank, chaining her own crowd control.
Alistar — He out-tanks him and undoes his initiation with his knockback combo, protecting his team.
